At the Table: Mothers Sharing Stories Through Art captures the experience of a group of international women who come together to share personal stories and create collaborative art about motherhood and nourishing their families. Filmed in the Eagle Heights Community (Madison, WI), the mothers share and weave their stories into an interactive art installation made of cyanotypes, a type of photographic process that utilizes the sun. They present and celebrate their work in a local community garden. The workshops and installation are part of a larger community art project entitled Greetings from Motherland which brings women together to question, investigate, share, and play using real experiences as the raw material for creating art and honest representations of motherhood.

At the Table premiered at the Wisconsin Film Festival on March 31, 2011 at 5pm in Madison, WI.

It was also featured on Wisconsin Public Television’s Director’s Cut program.
